John Dakom Joshua popularly known as JohnDee hails from plateau state Nigeria, born into the family of Mr & Mrs Joshua Gobak (Galadiman Dawaki) from a family of five, happens to be the last born and only singer in the family. Ngas by tribe but based in Abuja.
He started singing at a tender age back then in Roman Catholic Missionary Primary School and in Sunday School Children Church at COCIN Church Dawaki in the early 90s.
Later moved to Bauchi State in 2001 to start his secondary education, after his secondary school he joined the boys brigade and the same time E.L.S (Eternal Life Singers) as backup and worship leader.
Johndee is a fast rising gospel minister in Nigeria. A performing act, worship leader and lead vocalist in his local church, he has hosted so many worship meetings and has been invited to so many concerts and featured in so many songs too. The song “Sunan Yesu” was inspired by the Holy Spirit and an incident that happen to him last month October which lasted for 3weeks. He couldn’t sleep, eat, talk, urinate or put on clothes for that period of 3weeks.
