[ARTICLE] IF MINDING WILL NOT MEND IT THEN BETTER NOT MIND BY HANNATU VICTOR

If Minding will not Mend it, then better not to Mind!

Yea sometimes we are contented with crying out against ourselves: ” well, yes, I know – this is me failing, it’s my fault, am so anxious and nervous, I was not sensitive, I do fret and worry. I wish it were not so”…………..and we go on an on dispensing energy fretting, flurrying and worrying.

Homepathy may have its place, but it will not cure worry. You can not cure worry by worrying about it!

The best thing to do is to leave it at the master’s feet (Jesus) who is our present help in times of need, He will help you leave all those needless pains and worries behind you.

By minding, worrying and flurrying you don’t add up any value to your life. it is, then also better not to mind it or you battle with Mental health issues and become a victim of hypochondriasis (Anxiety Disorder)

What have you been worriying about?
Philippians 4:6

*Seeds or Harvest? 5*

Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected,
“Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.”
“Leave her alone,” Jesus replied. “It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.
John 13:3-5 & 7

Purpose is key to planting, a good farmer knows what to plant, where to plant, when to plant and how to plant in other to get a good yield, Judas Iscariot suggested (though with an impure motive) she planted in the lives of the poor instead of on Jesus feet, it didn’t look like a bad idea at all, but Jesus response shows that she understood purpose and acted accordingly, and her harvest was bountiful.

Therefore it is not enough for you to identify a good seed, but the right place and at the right time, some people today use their tithes to help the poor, that is an example of bad planting, the bible says, “bring your tithe to my house(your local church in this case) so that there will be food.
Before you plant seek purpose

*Seeds or Harvests 3*

Mark 12:41-44

“As Jesus sat near the Temple treasury, he watched the people as they dropped in their money. Many rich men dropped in a lot of money; then a poor widow came along and dropped in two little copper coins, worth about a penny. He called his disciples together and said to them, “I tell you that this poor widow put more in the offering box than all the others. For the others put in what they had to spare of their riches; but she, poor as she is, put in all she had—she gave all she had to live on.””

The quality of seeds does not lie in the quantity, when you sow the right seeds you will get the right Harvests.

Jesus was in no way saying we should sow everything we have, but He was referring to the heart of the giver, we often think people that give more are better givers than people that give less, the magnitude of seeds lies in the heart.

If God’s opens your eyes to where some givers take from, you will learn to appreciate every little gift that comes your way.

A good farmers sows the best for a great harvest, always sow your best.

God Loves a cheerful giver.
